## NCRTC Supervisor Electronics eligibility: qualification

Supervisor-I (Electronics), post code D02, needs a **3-year diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent**. The course must be full time. NCRTC counts only full-time regular courses.

For posts D02 to D05, a full-time B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in a relevant discipline is also permitted. A candidate with an equivalent qualification must produce a copy of the equivalence certificate.

All essential qualifications must come from a UGC recognized Indian university or deemed university. An AICTE approved course from an autonomous Indian institution also counts. Where a university gives a CGPA or grade, the application must show the equivalent percentage.

## Age limit for NCRTC Supervisor Electronics

The maximum age for post D02 is **28 years** on 10 September 2026. Only Indian nationals above 18 years of age can apply.

### Age relaxation by category

| Category | Relaxation in upper age limit |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------- |
| SC or ST | 5 years |
| OBC (NCL) | 3 years |
| Ex-servicemen | Length of military service plus 3 years |
| PwBD in UR or EWS | 10 years |
| PwBD in OBC (NCL) | 13 years |
| PwBD in SC or ST | 15 years |

Relaxations for more than one category add together. The maximum upper age must not exceed 50 years after all relaxations. The notice identifies post D02 as suitable for PwBD candidates, so the PwBD relaxation applies.

An NCRTC employee with one year of service on the notice date gets age relaxation equal to the completed years of service. NCRTC also relaxes the full-time rule for such an employee.
