## Pay and probation for Junior Engineer-I

A selected candidate first works as a Probationer Trainee for **two years**. During this time the fixed pay is **₹23,700** per month.

After successful probation, the post moves to Pay Matrix Level 10. The basic pay is **₹33,800** per month. Allowances such as dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), medical allowance and travel allowance apply as per the rules.
