Pay and probation for Junior Engineer-I
A selected candidate first works as a Probationer Trainee for two years. During this time the fixed pay is ₹23,700 per month.
After successful probation, the post moves to Pay Matrix Level 10. The basic pay is ₹33,800 per month. Allowances such as dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), medical allowance and travel allowance apply as per the rules.
